Step into Maya's Snack Bar, a Paleteria unlike any other in the city.

Alejandro Sanchez, Co-Owner of Maya's Snack Bar, is the proud son of immigrant parents from two regions of Puebla— mother Socorro from Peña Colorada, Puebla, and father Rolando from San Miguel Zozutla, Puebla. Founded in 2019, Maya's Snack Bar was born out of a desire to fill a void in the New York eatery scene. Drawing inspiration from Mexico and LA, the Sanchez family set out to create a menu that is quick and tasty.

As you step inside, you're enveloped by the charming pink decor,  and the sight of Tajin, chamoy, Salsa Valentina, and fresh citrus, that will instantly make your mouth water. Each creation, from the classic Paleta de Mole to the adventurous Paleta de Camotes, is crafted to offer a unique experience.

Maya's Snack Bar is an homage to cultural diversity. Situated in Jackson Heights, it serves as a melting pot of flavors, drawing inspiration from various Latin American communities throughout NYC. From the beloved mangonadas to inventive flavor fusions, Maya's menu caters to a diverse array of tastes, welcoming not only those craving Mexican delights but also embracing patrons from all walks of life, including the Indian community.

Now with multiple locations, Maya's Snack Bar is a must-visit for a little something sweet, a little something spicy, and a whole lot of innovation.
