Panzón is a lively Brooklyn bar with Mexican influence in the heart of Greenpoint. The team behind Panzón includes chef Alfredo "Fredy," and David, the beverage and operations manager. The pair met while working together cooking in busy cafes and catering kitchens in Manhattan over the last decade. They would often collaborate on family meals for the staff and aspired to one day create a Brooklyn-meets-Mexico watering hole with exceptional CDMX-inspired street snacks, salsas, and more.

After years of testing recipes in their small NYC apartment and doing pop-ups, Panzón finally got a lease in Greenpoint and became a reality! Their menu offers casual, shareable bar snacks to enjoy over drinks in their beautiful backyard. It's the perfect spot to enjoy their "El Panzón" avocado margaritas.

Without Chef Fredy Llanos Panzón would cease to exist. Fredy curates a vibrant menu that encapsulates his childhood in Mexico and his time exploring the vast culinary scene of NYC. Fredy comes in to work every day with a smile and spends hours perfecting his salsas, and excites the staff with recipes that he is iterating daily. He merges the front of house with the back of house and ensures everyone is always having a good time despite the chaos of a busy shift. Fredy proposes new ideas, introduces us to the wonderful Mexican community of NYC, all while keeping us in business. He might not like it, but he also inspired our icon, the "Panzón", a lovable and cheerful icon.
