Lolita. She’s as thoughtful as she is beautiful. When stepping into 45 W 45th, you will be met with the beautifully decorated space and a Belle-like library full of distinct liquors. And at the forefront of Lolita's ambitious beverage program lies a profound appreciation for agave and sugarcane distillates, with a distinct emphasis on the concept of terroir - the unique environmental factors that influence the flavor profile of agricultural products, including climate, soil, and geography.

But it's not just about the cocktails at Lolita; the cuisine is equally cared for. Head Chef Carmelo Calixto, from Piaxtla, Puebla, brings a wealth of tradition and family recipes to the table. Each dish reflects Carmelo's culinary heritage, from classic Enchiladas de Pollo to soft-to-the-touch Suadero Tacos. With a commitment to preserving the authenticity of Mexican cuisine, Lolita's menu is a pocket of tradition in an ever-changing neighborhood in midtown.

At Lolita, you can eat or drink your Pico de Gallo. Signature cocktails like the Pico de Gallo Martini and the clarified and force carbonated Paloma exemplify the artistry and dedication that go into each concoction. Led by Beverage Director Marshall Minaya (Valerie and Madame George) and Head Bartender Carlos Kennedy-Lopez (Valerie), Lolita's cocktail menu is a testament to creativity and innovation. Divided into two primary categories – Tropical and Savory – the menu takes guests on a journey through the vibrant flavors of Mexico, South America, and the Caribbean.

Lolita's dedication to cultural preservation is unmatched. The restaurant boasts a meticulously curated spirits library, featuring over 70 different labels, with an agave section that is 100% additive-free. From artisanal mezcals to rare tequilas, each spirit tells a story of craftsmanship and tradition, inviting guests to explore the diverse world of Mexican and global spirits.

As Cinco de Mayo approaches, the restaurant is gearing up to showcase its special cocktails and culinary creations. From the iconic Lolita Margarita with house-made curacao to the savory and smoky Pico de Gallo Martini, guests can expect an unforgettable dining experience that captures the essence of Mexican terroir.

PUEBLA YORK WEEK SCOOP: Lolita will be hosting Mariachis all weekend Friday & Saturday (May 3 & 4) at 6pm, and Sunday May 5th at 2pm!

Lolita offers a blend of the familiar and the novel. Where tradition and innovation intertwine harmoniously in every delightful detail.
