In the heart of the Historic Northern Tribeca district, a dream was born. Stacey Sosa and Katie Leonard, longtime colleagues and friends, envisioned a space that seamlessly blended elevated cocktails with a nautical ambiance. Thus, in April 2022, North Bar emerged, paying homage to the area's rich maritime history, once known as River North.

But North Bar is more than just a stylish watering hole—it's a culinary destination, thanks to the culinary prowess of Chef Alejandro Diaz. Hailing from Tlachichuca, Puebla, Alejandro's journey to North Bar began at Estancia 460, a sister restaurant where he honed his skills over a decade. When the opportunity arose to helm the kitchen at North Bar, Stacey and Katie knew Alejandro was the perfect fit to curate a menu that would captivate diners.
