Rooted in a small desert town in southern Oaxaca, the Tercero family's journey began amidst the arid landscapes where farming, livestock care, and market selling were a way of life. Guided by their mother's culinary expertise and their father's artisanal Mezcal production, the family inherited not just recipes and traditions, but a profound respect for quality ingredients and time-honored techniques.

Eduardo Tercero, from Huejotzingo, Puebla, stands as the creative force behind Casa Azul's unique cocktail offerings. With a culinary journey that began at the tender age of 17, Eduardo's expertise and talent shine through in every concoction he creates. His innovative approach to mixology adds a contemporary twist to the rich tapestry of Oaxacan flavors, inviting patrons to embark on a sensory adventure like no other.

After years of honing their craft in various culinary ventures across NYC, the Tercero siblings, led by Eduardo Tercero, the bar manager and owner, realized their dream of bringing a piece of their heritage to the bustling streets of the city. With over a quarter-century of collective experience, they proudly present Casa Azul—a haven where Oaxacan flavors and Mezcal traditions converge in harmony.
