Zona Rosa is a celebration of Mexico with fun, delicious, traditional Mexican food served out of a 1956 Spartan Trailer. It is a beautiful space with a roof deck for eating tacos and sipping Margaritas! Chef Ivan Garcia's great respect for quality ingredients and traditional Mexican cooking are illustrated in both his approach to executing a recipe and developing his own creations.
Emiliano Barreto is the chef de cuisine. He started working with chef Iván García 18 years ago when he left his town in Puebla. He now manages the kitchen, including inventory, product orders, schedules for the cooks, and quality control, all while showing a lot of professionalism and respect for his career in the restaurant industry. Today, Zona Rosa proudly calls him a successful Poblano in NYC and are happy to have him as part of their team.
